Picture this: It’s 5 PM on a Monday, I’m jamming early 2000s playlist, and screen printing Black July gear. It gets insanely dark, the lights flicker, and the sirens start going off.
My iPhone starts blasting that critical alert thing.
OH FUCK.
The power goes out and instantly I hear a train whistle.
We had a fucking tornado.
STORMS BE STORMIN.
This isn’t my first rodeo with severe weather (insert 2020 derecho), but this did have the biggest impact.
I am fine. The boys are fine. My home is fine.
Aside from a few trees down and a couple days without power, we did okay.
