Ben once had a different life: Overnight shifts, 3 AM gas station hot dogs, 200 lbs and on blood pressure medication.

But he decided he wasn’t staying there.

Ben started lifting and cleaned up so many of his habits. Now his blood pressure is normal, he’s at a healthy weight, and he’s hitting weighted pull ups.

Here is what can happen if you flip the switch!

What was happening in your life when you started lifting (or taking yourself seriously)?

It all started when I reached 200 lbs and was on high blood pressure medication - that’s when I knew I need to take back my health. I work overnights in a stressful job, so already it’s an uphill battle with health.

Then I came across a TikTok of Sam Sulek, just lifting and talking, which I thought, “I want to get big and strong”.

It was like a flip of a switch, I started learning about nutrition, protein, and working out. The algorithm did its thing that day. I started prioritizing protein, exercising, and general life style changes. I prepped more meals, quit having 3 AM gas station hot dogs, and lifted.

Now, I still enjoy the Abelardos breakfast burrito, but I’ll pace myself and eat if over a couple days. Since then, my blood pressure is normal now (no medication) and I’m down to a good weight for me. I can even do weighted pull ups.

YOU DID NOT WAKE UP TODAY TO BE A WEAK ASS BITCH® HOODIE

How has Pseudo Force shown up in your life during a hard or challenging season?

Life seems to always be hard, not in a bad way, but we all have to balance life. Balance the job, bills, eating, sleeping, chores, and just everything that makes daily life. Life is one big balancing act.

Like many, Pseudo Force’s trademarked saying, “You did not wake up today to be a weak ass bitch” is what caught my eye. Catchy, has a curse word, but motivational. We all have said to ourselves or others, “don’t be a little bitch” - the quote took it to another level, a better level. We wake up everyday and we don’t want to be a weak ass bitch.

It’s an everyday mantra for me. I want to wake up, do my shit to the best of my ability, and at the end of the day say, “ya know, today wasn’t too bad”.

You Did Not Wake Up Today To Be A Weak Ass Bitch®

When you feel like giving up, what do you say to yourself?

I tell myself, “I did not wake up today to be a weak ass bitch” or “I ain’t no punk bitch”. Cursing can be fun and motivational, in the correct context anyway. I also know someone, somewhere, has it worst than me - with that understanding, I know I am not doing too bad. Life may be tough, but I’m tougher. I also tell myself “the cat food won’t pay for itself.” - my cat has expensive taste.

What are you currently working on?

Right now, working on myself. I’m trying to get stronger, happier, healthier, and just in a better state of mind. Don’t get me wrong, dark humor is here to stay, but a little more positivity is probably good for me. I am also trying an actual “cut” phase - that’s pretty new. Actually tracking macros and sticking to the plan (mostly).
