WHAT BROUGHT YOU TO THE GYM?
A few years back, I went through a pretty rough breakup that left me in a dark place mentally and emotionally. I was drained, unmotivated, and honestly just stuck. Around that time, my uncle—who had always been into strength sports—encouraged me to try powerlifting. I figured I had nothing to lose, so I gave it a shot. At first, it felt like the outlet I didn’t know I needed. But life happens—injuries, excuses, laziness—you name it, and I slowly drifted away from the grind. Fast forward a bit, and my little sister told me she wanted to get into lifting, specifically powerlifting. That lit something in me again. It reminded me why I started in the first place—not just to get strong physically, but to pull myself out of a place I never wanted to go back to. So here I am, back under the bar, this time with more purpose and someone to share the journey with.
WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY WORKING ON?
It’s beach season, so I’ve been focusing on building overall strength—especially legs. At 6'5", adding size isn’t easy, and leg day hits different when you’ve got long limbs. Still, grinding through it and chasing getting big!
